obama is going to speak to your child at school

Living in the United States is a privilege, not a right, just like coming to visit my home. We have the responsibility to stand up and be heard when people attempt to turn our home into something other than what it was created to be. Awe and respect for God was an ingrained part of most of our founding fathers and SHOULD be no less so today, regardless of what some pawn off as "tolerance".

obama is going to speak to your child at school

obama has planned a speech to your children with out your consent and with out the ability for your children to choose whether or not the children wish to listen or not.

ITS BEING CRAMMED DOWN THEIR THROATS WHETHER THEY LIKE OR NOT!!!!!!!

How do you like your tax education dollars going to further obama's agenda?

I'm spreading the word that parents might want to keep their kids out of school September 8th!

Yes, we don't want kids to hear they should work hard and stay in school. Are you guys serious?

What part do you think is bad for kids...

...at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in the world – and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities. Unless you show up to those schools; pay attention to those teachers; listen to your parents, grandparents and other adults; and put in the hard work it takes to succeed.

-- Every single one of you has something you’re good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That’s the opportunity an education can provide.

-- And no matter what you want to do with your life – I guarantee that you’ll need an education to do it. You want to be a doctor, or a teacher, or a police officer? You want to be a nurse or an architect, a lawyer or a member of our military? You’re going to need a good education for every single one of those careers. You can’t drop out of school and just drop into a good job. You’ve got to work for it and train for it and learn for it.

Thank you, God bless you, and God bless America.

Seriously guys, differences in political philosophy is one thing, but your side will continue to shrink in influence if you keep this up. I thing George Bush was a disaster and the worst President in my lifetime, but I never doubted he was well intentioned, had tremendous integrity and held a legitimate political philosophy.

Oh, Juan, my friend, you don't get it. At the time we posted all this the President thought he was going to get away with an "education pep talk" with conspicuously planted phrases designed to convince kids to promote and support his agenda. The accompanying "lesson plan" was another clue as to the purpose. However, because those of us with "shrinking influence" stood up and said, "Wait just a second...talking to kids about the importance of education is one thing, but step off the indoctrination train" he was able to alter his speech AND the "lesson plan" to be much more acceptable. I read the transcript of the final version and, I can honestly say, I found nothing but good stuff in that version.

However, Obama, while saying all those nice things, is such a hypocrite. He's killing some of the very initiatives that would actually help students. For example, the very successful voucher program that the D.C. are was using to cover tuition for students to go to schools that were actually performing well. The students in those schools had grades and other measurements far surpassing those of the students forced to go to regular public schools. I could go down the list, but the fact is that Obama is a socialist, and he has consistently told lies or half-truths to promote a socialist agenda. He has surrounded himself with anti-capitalists and people who believe it's actually okay to choose giving health care to young adults rather than small children or the aged, who think that animals should have representation in courts and who are self-avowed Communists. Yes, this president has told us that if we want to know what he's about that we should look to the people he surrounds himself with. We've looked and all we find are tax cheats, people who support the murder of the unborn, enslaving this nation to the federal government, the subjugating of our system of laws to those of the Europeans.

Yes, my friend, I'm deadly serious. You can phrase his initiatives in all the pretty code words all you want. I know exactly what he's doing, what he wants to do. There are right things to do and wrong things to do. There are right WAYS to do them and wrong ways to do them. So far, very few of the things Obama wants to do are right. And very few of the right things he wants to do are being done the right way. I'm serious.

"Shrinking influence" ????

If our influence is so inconsequential and obama's motives are so pure WHY did they drop the lesson plans for the speech he "intended" to give?

WHY?

the discerning mind would understand that obama's motives are not pure and we do have influence.
