25 Jun Balmorhea Trip Report

It's too bad more people don't take advantage of this trip! A beautiful 4hr drive gets you to a wonderful vista and easy, fun dive spot! We arrived Friday afternoon at 4:00 and after checking in at the hotel (all the spots at the park were full) we signed in at Balmorhea. Michele and Carrie (and family) arrived about an hour later and after a quick equipment refresher (which they both did well on) it was into the water. Two nice dives later we called it a day--mostly because lightning started striking all around us.
