ScubaBob and I returned from a successful completion of the PADI Emergency First Responder Instructor course. Now we just have to wait for our applications to be processed and our cards to arrive. Since Red Cross is so difficult to nail down a date for folks to get CPR & First Aid certification (they end up bringing someone from out of town) we decided that it would be smarter to be able to take care of all pieces of required certification for PADI courses. This also means we can do the training for non-divers needing CPR/First Aid for other reasons (e.g., lifeguard, daycare worker, etc.,)
